Angela Barlow helps hospitality businesses get underneath complex or recurring operational problems, understand what is actually causing them and turn that into practical change. The work spans systems, processes and people, from implementation and integration projects to operational improvement, training and supplier coordination, with an operator's perspective on what needs to work in the real world. Hands-on project experience covers EPOS, stock and recipe management, reservations, payments, gift cards and middleware, including Zonal, Guestline, StarChef, OpenR, SevenRooms, Toggle and FreedomPay, alongside payment acquirers including Elavon and Worldline. Current work includes project managing a multi-system integration programme for a hotel, restaurant and pub business, and leading acquirer selection and payment integration across reservations and gift cards for a London hospitality group, backed by more than 30 years of hospitality experience including 24 years with Shepherd Neame leading operations, training, audit, retail systems and project management.
