Hotel Innovation is a hospitality technology consultancy specialising in rapid prototyping and AI automation for hotels, resorts and hospitality groups. Its starting point, in Fabio Maggioni's words: hotels should not have to become technology companies to be AI-ready. It builds automations and internal tools on the systems a hotel already owns, from a one-page specification to a working prototype, often within days. Typical work replaces spreadsheets and manual checks: night audit, pre-arrival data, rate parity alerts, housekeeping queues, invoice coding and rotas. The hotel owns the result. Accounts are in its name, code in its repository and documentation in its drive, so the team can maintain and extend it after handover. The model suits every size of operation. A single hotel needs only the GM or owner to sign off. A small group pilots at one property, then rolls out across the group, the most common fit. A global group proves the case in one property or region before central IT, procurement and legal commit. It is not the right fit for hotels that need off-the-shelf software with vendor support, want a long-term retainer to manage their stack, or are looking for the cheapest option. It is not a software vendor and adds no subscriptions. Fabio's background spans operations, commercial strategy, RFQ processes, systems architecture and delivery, including roles with Belmond, Waldorf Astoria, Hilton and IWG. Work is priced at a flat day rate against a pre-agreed scope, with no extras, expenses or change orders.
