AI readiness, governance and implementation for hotels and hospitality groups, from an operator who has run the departments being assessed.

FAI Consultancy is Francesca Wood's hospitality AI practice, covering AI readiness, governance and implementation for hotels and hospitality groups. Francesca has personally run housekeeping, front office, F&B and commercial, so the assessment starts from how departments actually operate rather than from what a vendor wants to sell. The AI Readiness Assessment is one structured session with the whole leadership team, run online so the property is not disrupted on an operating day. It covers eighteen operational themes and around 100 questions scored against a published maturity rubric. Confidential one-to-ones with managers follow, so the findings reflect what happens on shift and not only what leadership believes. The hotel receives an open items list within 48 hours and a presentation of the Key Findings Report within two weeks. The report sets out a sequenced 0 to 12 month roadmap in which every initiative has a named owner, a baseline, a success measure and stop or go criteria. Hotels that want the build as well as the plan can continue into Blueprint and Implementation. Every system built flags and drafts, and a person makes every decision. The emphasis is on connecting what a hotel already owns rather than adding new platforms. It is not the right fit for hotels looking for a software reseller or an AI platform bundled with advice, nor for anyone who wants to automate first and define the problem afterwards. Assessments start from £2,500. At The Montague on the Gardens (Red Carnation Hotels), the assessment identified 60 to 130 hours a month of recoverable capacity in the first wave, with no new platforms needed to begin. Figures, background and engagement details are supplied by FAI Consultancy, not independently verified by HotelLogic.
